studies for ink's from "inos" sketchbook

Here are some small inks from my sketchbook. "Architect" and "Satrap of Babylon" are gonna be developed as larger inks. Babylon still fascinates me and I would like to devote an entire ink piece to it, especially the gardens. However, I can't seem to get close to the city, it has been eluding me. It is strange when one cannot cross the river of one's own imagination.

Excellent sketches. If you can't visualize the city you might try to focus on a building or temple in it, then just expand from there. I could see you doing weird bridges that cross between towers in the sky.

You should check out these conceptual sketches for Fritz Lang's Metropolis posted at the Golden Age Comics blog. I'm sure you'll find inspiration there.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Aeron, Yeah I'll definitly check that stuff out.

Zeke, No.I've never seen Piranesi's sketches. I'll check them out as well.
I'm also very stringly considering making a short comic--we'll see how that's gonna go.
